One of the best things about blogs and the whole interactive internet community thing is free stuff. And the best kinds of free stuff are the ones that come completely out of the blue and totally cheer your day up. About six months ago I commented on a post by Akhila when she was participating in a Pay It Forward activity and then completely forgot about it until a parcel arrived in the mail this week. This has been the most exciting thing to have happened to me since the excitement of the Made On The Left craft fair and pulled me out of my creative slump.
So thank you Akhila. You rock.
And now it’s my turn. I can’t promise you’ll get anything this year but you will get something (and it will most likely have a pic of a girl on it) but it’ll be one-of-a-kind and totally awesome.
